My areas of technical expertise include iOS and Braille note takers, JAWS, NVDA, System Access, and many iOS multiplayer games. I am a strong advocate for Braille and Braille literacy, and I believe that reading is fundamental to learning and growth. Nature is my escape, and I try to spend as much time outside as I can. I also help my husband in his candle making pursuits.
In my free time, which seems to be dwindling, I enjoy reading, playing board games and tabletop games, as well as writing fiction. I believe that awareness and insight can only be gained when information is available, and CoolBlindTech is an amazing resource for providing such information. I've always loved empowering others through technology, and through CoolBlindTech, I am able to do this on a wider scale. It's been amazing to be a part of such an extraordinary team here at CoolBlindTech. I've always believed if I could dream it, I could do it and so far I've been right.
I am currently an assistive technology trainer by trade, empowering others to use technology in their daily lives to do things they felt were impossible, or helping them use technology to achieve their career goals. This has applied to everything I've done, from taking Astronomy class in college to playing sports. I have always believed in one mantra: don't think outside the box, think like there is no box.
